Call to Artists:

Exhibit Your Work at the Barrymore Film Center

The Barrymore Film Center in Fort Lee is seeking local visual artists to exhibit their work as part of a rotating Gallery Wall in our world-class museum. This new initiative will feature a different artist every quarter beginning Fall 2025.

We are seeking hanging artwork including painting, photography, mixed media, textile, or illustration, from artists in Fort Lee and the surrounding areas. Artists selected for exhibition will have their work professionally presented in a beautiful public space with press, social, and email promotion. A public opening reception opportunity is available, mutually agreed upon and coordinated between the Artist and BFC staff.

Details:

  • Hanging system (30 lbs per hook, 900 lbs max per rail, 3 total rails)

  • Wall space: 24 feet, 9 inches

  • Artist handles installation and removal

  • 3-month display period

  • BFC retains 30% commission on all sales

  • Opening reception opportunity available

Exhibitions will be open to the public during the Barrymore Film Center’s regular hours of operation (approximately 10–15 screenings/events per week).
