This dynamic trio is comprised of internationally renowned Irish-American singer Madelyn Monaghan, versatile guitarist and singer Caleb Adams, and Scottish multi-instrumentalist and award-winning piper Cameron Macdougall. Their concert will showcase a variety of Celtic music from well-loved Irish ballads and sean-nós (old style) singing to American folk songs to traditional Scottish pipe and whistle tunes. It promises to be a special evening of ancient music arranged by a contemporary trio for a 21st century audience.
Madelyn Monaghan is an Irish-American singer, actress, and recording artist based in NYC. She regularly appears in regional and Off-Broadway theatre, but it is Madelyn’s sean-nós (old style) Irish traditional singing which has brought her international recognition and TikTok virality. In 2024, Madelyn made her festival debut on both sides of the Atlantic as a leading performer at the Celtic World Forum in Dublin, Ireland and the Rockport Celtic Music Festival in Massachusetts. She returned to the lineup of the former in 2025. While touring as the vocalist with the Celtic holiday concert “Pipes of Christmas”, Madelyn appeared as a guest on WGBH’s radio program, The Culture Show. Madelyn has collaborated with renowned artists and labels across genres in Ireland, the U.S., the U.K., and The Netherlands. In 2023, Madelyn co-wrote and sang on a Sean-nós/EDM fusion track called “Follow The King” with Ben Gold of Armada Music in Amsterdam. The track has been remixed by the likes of Scottish DJ David Forbes and played on A State of Trance by Armin van Buuren. Madelyn’s voice can be heard on feature film scores (Hellboy: The Crooked Man), commercials (Tullamore Dew), and in museums and EDM areas all over the world. All of Madelyn’s recorded music, including her debut album éist, a collaboration with multi-instrumentalist Cullen Vance, is streaming wherever you get your music.
